REALLY
I found a bird's nest yesterday
And studied it's design
A gift of nature so unique
Destined to be mine
With careful hands I placed it
Where the reach would be the hardest
The bird who built this fragile nest
Was certainly an artist
Where are you little one, I ask
And what's the reason why
Inside a dream, a flash of wings
A peaceful "Here am I"

GREAT SPIRIT
I look to the Light and see your grace
Like the sparkle in my mother's face
But then I see pain, grief, and hunger
Wondering what rule does this fall under
I look to the Light again and weep
Then feelings of comfort beckon deep
Are You there?
A hint of hope begins to blossom
New days will come and they'll be awesome
I look to the Light again feeling new
Because it's true
You're there!
